Burlington History Tours is the creation of longtime Burlington resident and passionate storyteller Gary De Carolis. With a deep love for the Queen City and its rich past, Gary brings Burlington’s history to life through engaging, fact-filled walking tours that are both fun and informative. In just two hours, you’ll gain a fresh perspective on what makes Burlington, Vermont such a special place.
Gary is an author, former three-term Burlington City Councilor, and has held executive-level administrative positions in both Vermont state government and the federal government. Throughout his distinguished career, Gary has always called Burlington home—and now, he shares his deep knowledge and appreciation of the city with visitors and locals alike.
